Garden Maintenance

 

 

We are looking for a few special people that are passionate about plants and have a good work ethic to join our crew. Horizon Fine Gardens has been landscaping naturally for 25 years. We believe in creating and caring for gardens that support our ecosystem.  We strive to use native and perennial plants to improve biodiversity by nurturing pollinators, birds and other wildlife, all while adding beauty to your landscape.  We are perennial gardeners, bee keepers, bird feeders, greenhouse caregivers and landscape laborers. 

This is a full time, hourly position.  We will consider part time work.  Candidates should have some experience landscaping or in a similar field, but most importantly a willingness to learn. The right candidate should be able to lift 50 lbs and be willing to do manual labor rain or shine. Knowledge of perennials and shrubs is a plus. Familiarity with small motorized equipment, manual transmission and a driver's license is preferred, but not required. This seasonal position runs from May 1- Oct 31st (weather dependent). Work hours are 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. 

Candidates must have a positive attitude, an excellent work ethic, and a love of the outdoors.
